Quick export for selected clips

It would be great if it were possible to export one or more selected clips directly from the timeline (preferably with a preset set up in the Delivery tab).

Why?
I am currently working for a client and have more than 50 individual greenscreen scenes in the timeline that are retouched and precolored before the greenscreen is keyed out.

a) It is inconvenient to set extra In and Out for each of these clips and then start an export via Delivery.

b) it would be inconvenient to copy all affected clips into a new timeline and then export them as individual files via Delivery.

A
Right-click | Export to (with current preset)...
would be great.

And a second function:
Right-click | Export to (set preset)...

You can use render in place and choose format and location. There is a quick export function as well, but I'm not sure how to set it up to what you want, I've never really used it. You can use render in place, which is pretty much what you said you need.

No, "Render in place..." is different.
It replaces the selected clip with the new render. The timeline should not be changed at all after "Lock".

I just need to export one or more selections as individual clips with a given preset.
This "quick export" is also different and not what I need to work with the VFX team.

I was thinking, you render in place to a location of your choosing and format. You decompose in place after it and its done. Quickest export of selected clips.

Another real quick way you can do it is to have a timeline or multiple empty timelines with settings you need, and with stack timeline mode, its literally drag and drop and export as either one single file or individual clips with the settings in a preset you want. Real quick.

I think that is probably the quickest way that keeps the flexibility of the full export.

As already mentioned, the two functions already available in Resolve are not the solution to my problem. I have to export the selected clip (or several) as it is as EXR. The files are then edited by the VFX team. The timeline shall not be touched.

And it is not a solution to do any stunts with additional timelines in addition to the complex "locked" timeline.

A right-click on the clip and then an export would therefore be very desirable.

If you are not inflexible, I think I got a solution for you. Clip filters on the deliver page can be used to quickly export tagged clips. You said you got 50 individual greenscreen scenes you need to export from the same timeline?

Select the clips on your timeline and give them green color, for example. And in the deliver page choose "individual clips" and use clip filters to auto filter the clips as individual clips for export. You can use existing filters or make your own "smart filters". Works quite well. You also than have option to use any preset for expert you like and you get option for "use commercial workflow" which you can use to place your .exr exported sequences in their own folders. It should solve the problem you had. Or for anyone else reading this with similar needs.

This a cool feature. Does "selected clips" simply puts an in and out point around 1 single clip and exports that?
I naturally assumed "selected" would mean the ones I highlight before exporting, but after some testing it only exports 1 single clip this way.

1. Open your timeline in Deliver page.
2. Set Render to Individual Clips.
3. Select the Clips you want to render here on Deliver page (Clips).
4. Set Clips filter to Selected Clips.
Of course you can skip 3. and use any other filter - as Kruno suggested.
5. Set the Render Range to "Entire Timeline" or "All filtered Clips".
6. Render
