I find that I need to use several tools when editing a video, and it would seem reasonable to request the addition of a markdown viewer in the media tab.
I want to be able to read and write Markdown files right within Davinci Resolve. They could be used for outlines, scripts, notes, and process workflow documents.
It's even possible that some markdown files could be used as a basic task list.
I believe there are a lot of open-source libraries to render markdown, so maybe it's possible to leverage some existing libraries and add the functionality fairly easily to Resolve.
If you eventually integrate the Markdown editor with Blackmagic Cloud, then people might be able to brainstorm outlines collaboratively and in real time, but that is a separate feature for a later date.
Right now, I'd like to be able to have markdown text files in various bins/dictortories to communicate with team members and it can be fairly asynchronous.
