Ryan Schroeder wrote:Perhaps that's just making an 'open timeline' format of some sort that works between NLE's, or updating XML to a more modern format. I know that requires integration across vendors, which I imagine could be tough!

Pixar is developing OpenTimeLineIO, and they are already using it internally.

- multicam sequence/timeline creation
- match frame from multicam clip on timeline to viewer and than match frame to specific video clip
- ability to unflatten multicam after flattening
- “open in timeline” to place the playline on the same spot of the clip where your playline is on the working timeline
- multicam audio clip waveform improvement - a lot of crashes in 15 for us is due to multicam waveform cache to the point that we cant use waveform on multicam clips
- ability to choose which part of the clip is selected after splitting a selected clip
