option to turn off step ''looking for control surfaces''

Hi! at start looking for control surfaces takes ages. It would be nice to turn off this feature as I don't use them and it costs a lot of time after a year of working.

A BMD employee has stated the "look" actually goes very fast. It just stops on those words while it's doing other things.

Well crap, I was about to post the same thing but decided to scan the current list and here we are. I even redesigned their UI for the new feature lol.

So if that's not the problem, can more things that are being done during initialization be included in the list? Sometimes I hang on "looking for control surfaces" longer than the entire booting of Resolve. I would love to know what's actually hanging up.
