mkdir crashes when using media managment

Hi,

I've tried to archive an old project via the media managment tool. This results in the error description: "Failed to copy 342 media files." A look into the log shows that mkdir fails to create the corresponding folders. I have copied a few relevant lines from the resolvedebug.txt

Does it fail only for this drive? If you media manage these clip (or a subset) to your local NTFS drive, does it work?

A couple of requests -
a. please add info on your Resolve version (incl Studio or free), OS, hardware, peripherals etc - as requested in the FAQ. Please include info on the original location of the clips and the media managed location (J:) - how they're accessed (NAS/regular share/USB), what they're formatted (NTFS, FAT32, etc).

b. If possible, please post a URL to the exported project (DRP) from the project manager and Resolve logs (from Help menu).

I have now tried a few different files from a different drive to a local NTFS drive - same error.

Regarding your questions:
a few more infos about my system:
- I am using Resolve Studio Version 18.0B Build 10
- Windows 11 (Build 22000.675 - 21H2)
- Hardware | Self built PC with a Ryzen 9 3900X, Geforce 3090, 64 GB Ram, Bunch of NVMEs, SSDs, HDDs, I have attached my dxdiag and systeminformation file.
- The files are located on a local SATA connected NFTS HDD (V:) and are intended to get copied to a smb share on an NAS that is mounted as a network drive (J:) via Samba

Can you try increasing the Preserve Folder Hierarchy value to 1 folder level and see if that helps?

I would love some additional info on this error, what causes it, and how this temp fix works? I seem to be having the same problem (same error in my logs). Setting the value to "1" often fixes the issue, but not all the time.

The issue should have been fixed the version after my message.

If you see any additional issues - crash or not - please add:
a. context info
b. a series of steps, what you expect to happen, what actually happens. This allows us to give it a shot in engineering.
