DV beta 18.b3 not working at all

After installing 18:b3 I got the following message:

GPU config warning

DVR is using open cl for image processing because the main display gpu or one of the selected bvidia gpu does not does not have sufficient capabilities to support support cuda 11.0. removing the unsupported gpu from the system of manually selecting open cl mode[i]

upend preference and changed to cl and the back to cuda

Now I get the message DV quit unexpectedly and wont open.

The Intel GPU is disabled in the UEFI?

Its a new computer I don't know how to get into the bios yet.

I looked up that Proart computer when you first posted in post-production. It doesn't appear to have onboard CPU graphics.

In any event, if your monitor is connected to the 3070, it shouldn't be an issue. A nvidia gpu and an integrated GPU can apparently co-exist these days.

If you want to get into the bios to check, hit "del" repeatedly while the computer is booting up, then look at graphics section and see if there's Intel graphics you can enable/disable. You can also look in computer devices, to see what graphic adapter(s) the OS currently "sees".

It has both an intel 750 and a rtx 3070 and it states that both are working. Ill check the bios sometime today.. BTW now when I open DVR it opens the data base configure window but doesn't let me configure any thing. I haver seen this window, before I just went to preference's and selected the drive for storage...

No gpu in bios, not intel nor rtx.

Then try to disable Intel graphics in device manager and see what happens.

The monitor is connected to the intel gpu.

Move that to the 3070.

Intel gpu uninstalled assuming rtx is working. Opened Dvr for now I get the message DV quit unexpectedly. Tells me to fill a form to send to bmd, did that and nothing else happens. So I guess I need to wait for bmd. If you can add something else I will greatly appreciate is. Thank you

I missed the statement above that the monitor was connected to the intel GPU (it shouldn't be). But with the intel GPU now off, I don't know how you're viewing the monitor (at all) if you're still connected to it(?)

But anyway, you want to connect the monitor to the 3070 card.

All I've done is disable the intel gpu. everything but DVR appears to be working fine.

I've had problems like this in past. Here's what helped me and others.

1st: Go to remove programs and remove DR.'

2nd: On your C: Drive, remove the contents of your Temp folders. You have two. Google that info. Not cleaning out your Temp files can create problems. I do it twice a week. Can't tell you how important it is

3rd: Turn Off "Fast StartUp" in Windows. Really shouldn't be the default. Just a wreck for some editors.

Then upload and install DR18 again.

There seems to be a problem with the computer and the 3070. Called the seller and they will be sending me a new one as soon as they get mine back.
