DR18b3: Dual Panel icon didn't work on media page

PostThu May 26, 2022 6:13 pm

This is old issue found on media page, and get me frustrated every time i use this page.

When you click on icon to change view from 1 to 2 panels it clicks but nothing happened. It works on other pages and fusion, but media page has only click animation.

Guys, please make it works. It will be great to quick change view from 1 panel to 2.

Thanks

It's working here. Clicking on the box icon has no effect, you have to click on the arrow next to it and then make your selection.

Working here as well in Studio 18b3 for Windows 10.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

sorry, it seems that i was not clear enough. Yes, it works with 2 clicks. But on all other windows it works with one click on icon. Even icon has animation click and it two separate items (icon and arrow). So it was not implemented by mistake or other thing.

I'm asking to make icon works

There is a separate forum for Feature Requests.

viewforum.php?f=33

Best practice is to search first, to see if someone already asked. If not, post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.

That icon which appears in the Media Pool is for displaying the contents of Bins either singularly or in multiples so has multiple choices, hence the arrow. You will also find it in the Edit page with the same function.
The similar icon for switching between single or dual viewers only has those two choices so no need for the arrow to give multiple choices. Therefore both icons are working as they should.
Here's a pic of the same function as the Media page in the Edit page with four Bins.
