Stabilization Bug - Please Help

Description:
I used the Gyro Stabilization mode on a footage from the BMPCC 4K running Camera Update 7.9 and after changing the stabilization Mode to "Similarity", I get a Critical exception error with description
LmInvalidParamGrpException: The parameter group (unsupported) GROUP_INVALID with timeline id 0 is not allowed the markstone.
The application has recovered from the error. It is advisable to s the project and restart application. Please email the details of the error to Blackmagic Design, and contact Blackmagic Design Support if the error persists.


My system Specs
Dell Inspiron 7577 Intel Core i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.5GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU Nvidia GTX 1060 Max-Q (6GB), WIndows 11 Pro (21H2) Build 22000.739.

Davinci Resolve Studio 18.0b5 (Build 28)

I get the same error when switching either to or from gyro stabilization, so either:
- when I've applied gyro stabilization and perform another type afterwards (error at completion)
- when I've applied another type of stabilization and apply gyro stabilization afterwards. (error at completion)

My current work-around is resetting the stabilizer first so that prior stabilization data is lost.
