When is DR 18 GA?

So my question for BMD is when will we see Resolve 18 go GA? With the stabilization feature of camera 7.9 update, we can't use 17 with it. Unfortunately we don’t upgrade our production DR studio unless DR version is GA.

Ellory, I think you answered your own question. BMD, and most other critical software companies, will go GA when they think it's ready to to without major disruptions to critical timelines. Yes there is always some disruption and things slip through, however BMD has done a good job in the last several years of holding off until the vast majority of critical bugs are solved.

No one wants to upgrade to a GA software and then find out they were the one company to have a unique set of issues that corrupted their data.

It will come.

I understand and appreciate that. Just trying to get a feel when my team can move over to 18 and minimize the transitional disruptions.
