Retime ctrl w/ linked audio and video from different source

PostWed Jun 29, 2022 8:16 pm

Not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but I often have to use a different audio track for my clips.
It's the same audio, but reworked in another software.

I put the video on the video track, the audio on the audio track, then link both of them so I can edit them as if there are the same file.

But when I want to change the speed, when the clip is selected, it only change the speed of the video.
The audio is still at 100%, but the video is at 400%.

Right click on the audio part, I change the speed to 400%, the audio goes to 400% but the whole clip shrink again in half and the video goes now at 800% (but if I right click to see its speed, it says 400%)

If I remember correctly Maxwell, if you compound the clips first it will work as expected.

Yes, I know, what's what I do.., but I'm not sure if the behavior of linked clips in this situation is "normal"
