Collaboration using 17b6 and 17.1b6 not possible?

PostTue Dec 29, 2020 6:13 am

I have 2 machines - A Windows 10 running Studio 17b6 and MacBook Pro M1 running Studio 17.1b6.
The Windows machine hosts the PostgreSQL server and I can access and work on projects hosted there - no issues with that, just even if the collaboration is enabled for a project I cannot open it simultaneously on both machines - when I try to open it from the second one (while being open on the other) it fails with the following error:

Just wandering if this will be possible in a future beta or the final release?

Collab generally requires the Resolve versions on all the Resolve clients to be the same.

Since you have 17 and 17.1 clients, collab is not going to work.

By the time Resolve 17 is out of beta, this should all be sorted out. Plus the ability of free Resolve to use collab should also be implemented.
