Renaming elements in the media pool [BUG?]

PostSun Jan 03, 2021 10:50 pm

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but with the version 16, I just had to click twice on the name of any elements in the media pool to change its name.

I can't do that anymore... it still works on the timeline names.
I can rename elements in the list view, but it doesn't reflect on the thumbnail view.

And in the screenshots, there is two "rename" keyboard shortcuts, is that a bug too?
By curiosity, I put the F2 key for first one, then the second one, same thing (F2 is the shortcut to rename a folder/file on windows, and other applications).

Edit, with the sorting by Clip Name (and if we select the "Metadata view") :

Yeah, like I responded in the thread here (https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/posting.php?mode=quote&f=36&t=130908&p=709872#pr710088).. I was so used to not having this problem with 16, that I didn't think about it when I switched to 17. I imagine the option was on by default.

I remember being so frustrated with my F2 not "working", or double click on the name... "why doesn't that work anymore".

I'd wished there was a way to delete this thread.
