Unable to load new projects in studio beta version 19

After working with the studio beta 19 version for a few days, I'm now unable to open a new project I've created. I've tried clearing the cache file location, uninstalling and re-installing the beta version but it still freezes at 100%. I've also tried exporting and importing the project with no luck.

Any thoughts?

Is your project library on the system drive or USB external?

Is your project library on the system drive or USB external?

Both are installed on system drives but DR is installed on my primary (C:) and all the audio/video files are on my secondary (D:)

Are these issues with the beta or my local setup?

I've read through the FAQ but still can't find the details on where on how to submit a bug. I've successfully captured the required log files. I've called support but was told beta versions are not supported and to post in this forum for help...I'm happy to do either one, just now sure how to contact BMD and submit a bug report.

Per the FAQ, you need to upload the logs and system NFO files to a file sharing site (eg Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive etc) and share a download link to those files here.

If you're new to the forum (and so not yet authorised to post links) you can just put a space in the link path, e.g. my. dropbox.com - then the forum will not see it as a link and will allow it.

Try to logout and login to BlackMagic Cloud and see if that helps.

I have exact the same problem. I've send an email to Blackmagic.

I saw this video and the project seems to work again. Hope this helps the developers to adress the problem.

Good evening again. I think I've identified the issue. When the timeline has any fusion effects, the project refuses to open. When I delete the effect or the title, then it opens normally. This bug might have existed in version 18 as well because I also had some issues with projects back then. It's just that at some point, they would open.
