19b3 bug: edit bin/clip via inspector->insp. disappears

PostFri May 24, 2024 10:42 am

I wanted to rewrite couple of clips and set their camera angle in bulk.
Note, that I am working on clips in the bins, not in a timeline yet.
in media page and edit page, this works. In Edit page, you dont even have to hit "save" for multi-change... cool! (in media page, saving is still obligatory...)

here comes the bug: after clicking around for a while, DR19b3 behaved strangely:
in edit page, when selecting (even a single clip) and then clicking into inspector window, the inspector disappears and leaves a big blank area, as if the clip was unselected (which it still is).
Im Media page, eg. the metadata change still works.

After restarting DR19b3, it works again as expected...

It happened a couple of times now (restart, play around,. boom...)
and here is, how to reproduce it:

    - open an empty timeline
    - modify a clip in a bin (eg. change metadata)
    - drag a first clip into timeline
    - try to modify a clip in the bin again --> BOOM, inspector disappears

regards
Mike
