DR19 closes when fusion

DR19 closes when fusion with this combination; If the color management is in DaVinci YRGB Color Manager, if the space is DaVinci YRGB it works perfectly.

I've expirienced the same issue.
Fusion "hangs" and after a few seconds Resolve just closes all together.
I was testing out with some simple things, no heavy stuff. Just a little animated sEllipse.
Yesterday i got an all red screen in the playback viewer for no apparant reason. It wouldn't go away only after quitting Resolve and starting it up again the all red viewer was normal again. I was playing with the Intelli tracker at that time.
The above solution...changing the color science from Davinci yrgb color managed to Davinci yrgb seems to make Fusion stable again.
But i'm not sure thats the issue.

That is something we can test.

As it turns out, the same happened to me. Just switched over to the Fusion page and started playing a clip. No nodes were added. About 1/2 way through the clip, artifacts appeared and shortly after, Resolve crashed.

I was using RCM.

I then Bypassed Color and Fusion - still got artifacts and a crash.

I then disabled the new Fusion LUT. No artifacts, no crash. But...FPS did suffer.

I then Bypassed Color and Fusion AND had the Fusion LUT disabled. No issues at all.

Studio 19b1 on Windows 11.

Does not reproduce on an Intel iMac with Radeon 580.

Same thing here. I reinstalled it one more time today on Windows and same thing as the first install. Tried with AMD cards and intel cards. Uninstalled it now. It's just not ready.

Steps to Reproduce.

1. Use RCM.
2. Switch from Edit tab to Fusion tab.
3. Hit Play.

That's all it takes. The new Fusion LUT is on by default, so things won't go well if you do those three simple steps.

Even though the crash seems solved, I'm still seeing some issues.

For starters, the image in the Viewer takes a couple seconds to appear after switching to the Fusion page. That's not normal for my system.

Then, the image that does show is not what I see on the edit page. Seems the new Viewer LUT has been altered in Beta 3. It's now more contrasty and saturated.

Third, I can't get UHD clips to play in realtime, testing H.264 and BRAW. HD plays fine. That's also not normal for my system.

And finally, after switching back to Edit, the clip will occasionally not play in realtime, even though it always has before. Not all clips. Not every time. And nothing was done in Fusion, other than playback.

Thank you for the update Jim! I’m seeing some similar issues here.. I’m currently focused on the HDR aspects of the latest beta and will spend a bit more time in fusion in SDR …but I am also seeing chop in BRAW and the fusion viewer LUT sometimes flickers… I’m trying to get HDR going through the fusion atm but I’m also seeing an unexpected color shift between pages … Will update again… No crashing however .. cheers!

Nothing's changed for my setup. Breathe on the Fusion tab, freezes and crashes. I'll stick with 18.6.6 for a good while now.

I tried 3 different manufacturer cards now, all the same.
