Can't load any 18.5 beta. Crashing on Loading Fairlight Page

Removing Preferences folder from user Library not helped me.

Do you have a Fairlight Accelerator card installed in the Mac? If so, if you remove that, does Resolve 18.5 start?

There are no Fairlight acceleration card in my Mac.

I suddenly have the same problem with the latest version of 18.5 beta. Mac Studio M1 Ultra 64 gigs of Ram

Open Finder. Do a <CMD><SHIFT><.> key sequence so you can see hidden files/folders.

Navigate to this folder:

/Users/serafimsalnikov/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design

Rename the DaVinci Resolve folder to DaVinci Resolve.orig

Now start Resolve. Does it work?

Open Finder. Do a <CMD><SHIFT><.> key sequence so you can see hidden files/folders.

Navigate to this folder:

No it not works for me.
Davinci can't load even on clean MacOS install
I installed latest version of OS Ventura on external SSD
But resolve can't start (
Even 18.5 beta 4

Are you trying to install 18.5 in some other location, and not letting the installer overwrite the 18.1.4 install? Because otherwise, I can't explain why there is no indication of 18.5 in the logs you've just sent.

In Finder, go to this folder (it's a hidden folder, so you'll need to do a <SHIFT><COMMAND><.> to see hidden files/folders):

/Users/serafimsalnikov/Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve

Make a backup copy of the config.dat file.

Then edit the config.dat file, and add this line to the bottom of the file:

Local.GPU.Mode = OpenCL

Save the file, and launch Resolve. Does it get any further? If not, please send another log.

I really don't know why that's happening.

Shot in the dark: you have some third party OFX things loading. In case those might be related to the issue, do this to prevent them from loading:

In Finder, navigate to the /Library/OFX folder, then rename the Plugins folder to Plugins.bak

That will prevent Resolve from loading any third party plugins.

Had the same issue after installing Beta 5 on my M1 Macbook.

After reading the posts here i went in and renamed the 'Fairlight' folder at 'Library/Preferences/Blackmagic Design/Fairlight'

When i restarted Beta 5, the program no longer crashed when clicking on the Fairlight tab

I just installed version 18.5
Before installing, I renamed all Blackmagic system folders.
Nothin changes.
Crashing on Loading firelight page every time.

Try disconnecting the Behringer UMC202HD and see what happens.

If that doesn't help, uninstall Desktop Video, and see if that helps. if that helps, then install the current 12.5 version and see what happens.
