Fix XAVC Clips now that Resolve changed their handling again

PostThu Jun 01, 2023 9:50 pm

I imagine in the next few betas this will work but if I am in the middle of something is there a way to get Resolve to see all the XAVC clips as whatever the current method is? If I import the clips into a new project they work fine but stuff upgraded from beta 2 are all showing up as ACES color but the raw settings don't do anything anymore.

I tried stuff like exporting the timeline and exporting the bin and bringing them back in but the raw weirdness carries over.

What happens if you re-wrap them into .mov?
It would be fast and lossless.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Yeah I didn't want to duplicate all the clips.

It looks like reimporting all the media to a new project and then importing the timelines might be the temp solution.
