Davinci exports with slightly higher framerate

PostTue Jun 06, 2023 4:39 pm

I hope this is already under black magic's radar. The issue is pretty simple. I tried to export my video at 25fps, but the exported video was slightly faster. The audio kept the same speed, which resulted in sever audio drift, as the video progresses.

Timeline resolution was set to 25fps, obviously. I tried all kinds of export settings as well as clearing the cache and using proxy media. I even reinstalled Davinci, converted the video into different codecs and formats as well as the audio, nothing seemed to work.

I'm using a 2020 macbook pro M1.

When you playback your timeline, what does the frame rate indicator read? Does it read a consistent 25 fps?

what do you use to playback the rendered file? most likely this is a playback issue.
Btw, open the file in MediaInfo, what does the metadata say?
