Cursor does not change when the playhead is at an edit point

PostMon Apr 15, 2024 1:02 am

If the the playhead is on top of an edit point, the cursor does not change when moving it to the edit point. It used to work on previous versions

Does selection work as if the cursor had changed? Ie is the playhead also first priority for selection or do the edit points take precedence as I’d hope?

Selection works fine if you click the edit point.

Would be nice if we got the cursor change, though. It can be confusing without it.

I confirm the behaviour, the editor works correctly but it's really uncomfortable that the cursor doesn't change in this case, looks like the operation is not possible.

It's problematic because the changing cursor may be the only thing that warns you regarding what you're about to change. fade, clip begin/end or cut between clips.

Panos_mts alluded to a workaround by clicking on the edit point. In b2 at least, the cursor will change to show you what you'll modify if you move the mouse.
