Source Tape media offline

I believe this is a bug. I have two clips to demonstrate.

One clip is from a Sony camera, the other iPhone. When I use Source Tape in the Cut Page, select in and out points, and insert the clip into the timeline, the Sony clip turns into a Media Offline! I believe Davinci is somehow changing this clip to a Multicam clip of some sort because you can see on the Edit Page that the clip is renamed "Angle 1." I don't know why the iPhone clip is unaffected.

If I drag the whole Sony clip onto the timeline, or don't use Source Tape, the clip works. Any suggestions?

Same problem here. Just did a fast cut of 2 days of footage, closed davinci, went for lunch came back and it is all gone... 4 hours worth of work. So annoying.

The update doesn't fix a previous edit (assuming we are talking about the offline clips created from source tape in the cut page).

Can anybody confirm this is fixed in Beta 3? I've lost so many hours of work to this over the last week.
