I love Blackmagic cloud. But it doesn't handle motion graphics well and maybe there is a work around for this but I haven't found it.
On larger projects where I want it to only upload proxy to share with a team, it doesn't recognize that a file has an alpha channel. Which it should to handle differently. It makes the h.264/5/ProRes proxy and just blows the alpha away so if someone cuts in a logo or a lower third it's just a black background.
I would suggest either having some way to flag a file to upload to the project in its raw state even though you want only proxy for everything else. Or a setting that says "if file has alpha upload original only". Or maybe go with DNxHD 36 or something smaller with alpha as an option?
