Cloud Presentation Markers Can’t Be edited on iPhone
Currently, if you tap the marker icon while reviewing a project via a Blackmagic Cloud Presentation on an iPhone:
• It adds a marker to the timeline, but…
• You can’t write a comment, edit, or even delete it afterward.
• This results in a blank marker being synced to the timeline with no author or context.
This is particularly frustrating during mobile review sessions, as:
• It’s easy to accidentally create ghost markers.
• Collaborators have no idea what the marker was meant to flag.
• These must be manually cleaned up later in Resolve on desktop.
The ability to review and annotate timelines on mobile is one of the main benefits of Cloud Presentations — but right now the iPhone experience introduces more confusion than clarity.
Feature Request:
• Either disable the marker button on mobile until editing is possible,
• Or (ideally!) enable full marker comment input and editing on mobile devices.
Thanks for all the amazing work you’re doing, Resolve and the Cloud workflow have transformed our pipeline.
