Hi BM Support

I have a situation where part of the file in the original media is offline, but when shift to proxy the "offline part" is there. The BM Cloud interface shown everything is fully sync, no error indication.

How do i force davinci to redownload or recheck the offline part ?

There isn't really 'support' for Cloud questions. Are you on the source machine - hosting all the original files? Or are you on a guest machine, connected via the cloud?

In either case, can you locate the original media on your machine? If it's not on the remote 'guest' machine, then there's now a new command when you right click on media in the edit bin to 'Sync Original Media' which might help. If it's a more stubborn issue, the host editor could drop that original media into a folder on the cloud app page, or send it via a 3rd party file transfer service.

Just realized there is a reply. No, im at guest machine, my assistant help me to upload the files to BM Cloud project. The original project is fine, there is no "offline", it's only at one of the guest machines. The first guest machine is fine, but the other one is not. Something must have happened during the sync process which Resolve cant detect it in the 2nd machine.

I will try the sync original media method. Will post an update.
