ATEM Audio goes robotic

PostMon Sep 26, 2022 8:31 pm

ATEM MiniPro ISO
Use it everyday- 3 cameras- Rode wireless GO II mic.
Watch this video - audio starts fine- then goes Robotic.
Note- the video starts to distort about 13 seconds after the pre-roll finishes with the countdown.

Sounds fine through the monitor headphones
Youtube audience alerts us- we didn't know what to look for.
Monitor wasn't peaking. Headphones were clear.
Engineer may have hit the "record button" on the ATEM about the same time- the recording on the external SSD is all robotic.
Suggestions?

We've not had it happen again. Reboot everything- update.

Ahh, ok, I couldn't reboot as I was in the middle of the recording - but when I stopped recording and came back to recording it again it had gone. It was present on the stream straight out of the ethernet port and also on the USB ports to the recordings and the USB webcam out. So it seems to be an issue with the audio out device at the encoder maybe?
