My HyperDeck Studio HD Mini is experiencing issues with HyperDeck version 8.4. If I leave any SD cards in the HyperDeck when it gets powered on, none of the cards get recognized or even show up as being inserted into the device. To make it more annoying, even if I take the card(s) out of the HyperDeck and insert them again (even into a different SD card slot), still the SD card(s) are not recognized. If, however, I remove the cards before powering the HyperDeck on, and only insert them after the HyperDeck is powered on, then both cards show up fine and allow for recording.
I tried formatting the SD cards to exFat and to Mac OS Extended, but the issue still persists. I am not connecting to a network drive and I do not have any external drives connected to the USB-C port on the back. I tried disabling all of the new Network Access features (FTP, HTTP, Ethernet Protocol) and still the issue persists.
Also, the SD cards that I am using are the same SD cards that I have been using with the device for years, and on the previous versions of the software, work perfectly fine. Even after I downgraded the firmware on my HyperDeck, the SD cards work perfectly fine, so it is something about HyperDeck 8.4 that is causing the issue.
Anyone else having this issue or know of a way to fix it (without downgrading the software)?
