Options for tiny hdmi switcher

PostTue Jun 18, 2024 8:17 am

Hi Group

I am after a tiny HDMI switcher like you get for TVs off Amazon but are for cameras, so they do not drop power each time you switch.

I already have the atem extreme and for small stuff a Roland V-02.

My use case is, I do a lot of live streaming places like churches here https://funeralfilming.co.uk/funeral-live-streaming//

I have three BM cameras pocket 6k, 6k FF and a studio camera, I live stream out through a liveU solo bonded encoder the issue is the main camera inside would be attached to a switcher and sound equipment, so when people ask if I can live stream outside first or after I have to pick up the main camera with switcher and audio as it's attached to the LiveU unit.

Ideally, I would have the liveU solo attached to a tiny 2 in 1 out switcher attached to the side of a gimbal with one camera on HDMI out of camera into switcher the out to LiveU then when I go inside I attach the HDMI coming out of the switcher to the other HDMI port then switch to that, Easy!

I cannot see BM has a little converter like this as it would be so useful for many people's setups, I have tried the Amazon ones but everyone I have tried as I switch the liveU unit says no signal while it's switching so I do not trust them.

Any ideas would be welcome or BM please make something like this :D
12kCine, 6KFF, 6K pocket, 4K Studio.
