Has the Arduino shield been abandoned?

PostWed Jun 12, 2024 1:45 am

Last Software Update was 06 Jul 2018 (Control for Arduino 1.1).

If it is no longer supported please advise so I can design my own without competing with BMD.
It was a great product despite its bugs but it was 99.9% there....

The information about the shield used to be here on the Blackmagic developer site:
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/develo ... cts/camera
.. but if you click on the 'learn more' button for the shield you just got to the camera page.

I think it has been discontinued, however, the shield is still available at a few resellers.

Are you planning making your own small control panel?
