Hi All
I have inherited a streaming setup at the church I attend, that consists of
an ATEM TV Studio HD that connects to several TV's
3 in the main room,
2 in the welcome center
2 in separate meeting rooms
2 PTZ Cameras - as inputs
A magewell Ultrastream live stream box
All over SDI.
We have a HDMI Switcher (unsure of brand), coming into the HDTV, that controls what the downstream key is (either a HDMI source at the front, or the back, or the camera feeds)
Our current live setup produces PIP of the input from the HDMI switcher over the output from the PTZ cameras.
We have a monitor plugged into the HD TV for Multiview, and XLR coming into the unit (I'm not certain what this does at this point!), but it does come from the sound desk.
One of the key issues we have a the moment is that due to lack of space, it's not practical to control the ATEM via the Swicher software, during events. (Fades, Switches etc)
I'm looking to simplify this setup and was looking at the ATEM Mini possibly. Due to its controls, that would negate the need to have a separate device running the switcher software
I have a couple of questions
I know I will need an SDI-compatible ATEM Mini but, I'm not sure if I will need the Pro or Extreme, wich one would I need based on the my setup?
I want to maintain multi-view usage, and ideally do something to remove the need for the Magwell Ultra Stram box, - my understanding is that the ATEM mini could do this for me?
We currently pre-schedule our Facebook and Youtube streams - (and then start the streams via another device inside YT and FB's interfaces), would the ATEM Mini, support this approach?
If you have any advice, that would be great!
