Constelation HD and Stills memory

I was update my Constelation 1 HD to last firmware (9.6.2) .. And now it is remmebering loaded stills in media library .. This is great !
Is this feature of 9.6.2 fw too ?

I've been seeing this behaviour for longer than just the latest firmware. Not sure if it is since release or some point after that.
