I just conducted my first YouTube livestream using the Web Presenter 4K last night and I can not understand why the bitrate was so terrible. Youtube recommends 10 Mbps of bitrate for 1080p 30fps h264 live streaming, but the web presenter on the "Streaming High" preset only delivers 5 Mbps??
I cant understand why this is, my wan connection was a parallel 1Gbps connection, and the Web Presenter just wasn't taking advantage of it. I even tried switching to "Hyperdeck High" and still, 5 Mbps was the max. Nothing was caching so i dont think it was struggling.
After my livestream I found out I can make custom XML profiles and set a custom bitrate, but why should this be necessary? You'd think that the "High" preset would ATLEAST be equivalent to YouTube's recommended bitrate??
Could someone help me understand this situation?
