Feature Request: Improved Mix-minus

PostTue Nov 12, 2024 6:35 pm

Having a mix-minus output of the same source returned isn't helpful, instead of defaulting to the output source that is selected, ideally, we could select the input to omit (minus) from that Aux-Send's bus.

So, on the Mix-minus page instead of a "check box" there is a dropdown that lets you select "CAM1" (or any of the inputs) as what isn't routed to that Aux out audio bus.

Why is this important?
I do a lot of multi-site hybrid events, say I have 4 sites, and want to send them the program video feed through a video encoder, but I don't want to send them back the audio they are already sending me since it'll be doubled back if their speakers are on in the room. OR (if possible) I could fire a macro to switch their output to a single source if they are talking to someone in a different location.

Basically, I want to do what you can do in vmix, but with a blackmagic switcher and external encoders and decoders
