how should work replay system?

unfortunately the topic of replays is very unpopular (both on the forum and on YouTube, sometimes even Blackmagic employees themselves have a problem with this topic!)

so maybe some of you use it on a daily basis and know how it should work?

so:
I have an Atem Mini Extreme
- I have cameras connected to it from input 1-7
- I also connect the Ultra Studio 3G monitor to input no. 8 of the Atem (it is also connected to the computer on which I have the DaVinci and set replays)

now the question
in a situation when I have a replay, should I switch to input no. 8 to show it - or will it happen automatically? (how does it work?)

With the Ultrastudio Monitor 3G you will need to switch or transition to it manually when you start the replay. I hope this helps.

The Ultrastudio 4K Mini supports the Fill and Key signals from Resolve. The Key signal is used to automatically "Key On" the ATEM when the Replay is run from Resolve. You would need to convert the Key output of the Ultrastudio 4K Mini to HDMI and use two inputs to the ATEM for this to work.

At this time only the Ultrastudio 4K Mini and Media Player 10G are supported for Replay Fill and Key. It is more than Fill and Key which requires special handling in Resolve and in firmware.

one more question

i have
- airmac 16mb ram m1
- atem extreme iso
- replay editor
- ultrastudio 4k mini

now i connect with normaln usb cable atem with airmac and other (with usb 4 cable) airmac with ultrastudio

ultrastudio connected with atem (with microconverter sdi to hdmi) to hdmi 7 i 8

then in atem software i set downstream key to camera 7 i 8

the problem is that when i try to start replay (i gat red border on camera field) autostinger now working
also on my hdmi out i cant see any replay

what should i set to see it?
