Multiple outputs

PostSun Nov 03, 2024 5:38 pm

I run a church livestream , to youtube, on Sunday mornings. Up until this point we have tuned multiple TVs within the building to the youtube stream, so people could watch from other locations, but the lag between live and youtube has become an issue. I would like to explore how I could split the output so I could still stream live to youtube, but also provide a live look on multiple displays within the building.

I am complete novice, I run the stream because my wife works for the church. I know almost nothing about what I am doing.

2 cameras, controlled by PTZ Optics IP Super Controller
ATEM Mini Pro switcher
MacBook Air computer

Any help, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are using DIGITUS Professional 4K HDMI Extender to provide our livestream to other rooms. If you don't have any free HDMI outputs on your ATEM switcher you could use a HDMI splitter.

Hi,
Aaron Parecki on YouTube has some really interesting ideas illustrating new functions for ATEM 9.5 update which talks about output option changes available. Maybe you might find something useful for your needs as it talks about using USB as an output.

Search for "ATEM Mini Pro/Extreme Updates! SRT, Multiview over USB and more! ATEM 9.5" it's only 10 minutes but well explained.

Cheers
Guy
