Hey All. I'm a touring teleprompter operator and am putting together a fly rig. Hoping to get some advice before buying the components. So far I've been using HDMI>SDI micro converters, Bidirectional boxes and portable SDi distorts.
I was looking at the older ATEM Television Studio HD but heard that it only has one program out.
Ideally I'm looking for the least amount of components to
Connect (2) laptops via HDMI for Primary and backup prompter signals
Converts signal to SDI 1080p/60
Distro to 6-8 external monitors (SDI)
Being able to switch signal to individual feeds, or black out specific feeds.
Right now we are using a cleanswitch Videohub but exploring if there are other options since I'm only using the most basic capabilities for our use on tour.
