I have been using my Blackmagic Extreme ISO switcher successfully for three years, however lately I have found that HDMI inputs 1 to 4 get hot, to the point where the cable connectors themselves get very hot.
This has caused these inputs to start flickering, so it is not reliable to use these inputs, my temporary alternative is to use ports 5 to 8, however I think it will happen again soon.
I have been superficially checking the equipment and it turns out that the internal fans are not working. Any solution?
The distributor tells me that these devices cannot be repaired, because it is as expensive as buying a new one. And especially this model, which is one of the "basic" ones. I think that Blackmagic should have broad support for all of its products, no matter if they are entry-level or high-end.
