Atem Streaming Bridge output very unstable / pixilated

PostFri Jan 03, 2025 9:14 pm

I am using an ATEM Mini Pro Iso with two PTZ cameras and two laptops connected, and I am trying to use the Streaming Bridge to send a video output to a separate monitor / recorder (Black Magic Video Assist 4K) via HDMI and/or SDI.
I have updated the software on both the ISO and the Streaming Bridge (SB)
I have everything networked through a network switch, using a PC to run the ATEM software, seeing both the ISO and the SB.
Everything looks good on the multiview, all signals are clean and stable.
When I click "ON AIR" I see the video output fine in my monitor, but then after about two minutes, it starts to be pixilated and glitchy. If I shut everything down and start over, the video is clean at first but then gets glitchy.

I have tried all the different settings for the streaming outputs (Streaming High, Med, Low, Hyperdeck High, Med, Low).
I have also tried changing the output resolution on the ISO to 1080@60, 1080@30, 1080@29.97.
Also tried putting the ISO and SB on their own network switch apart from PTZs.
Also connected an SDI directly from the PTZ camera to the SDI Ref on the SB for reference.

Nothing changes.

Please help.

UPDATE: I updated the firmware to the latest, 9.6.3, and then updated the ATEM and the SB, and it fixed ALL my issues! (I got some great help from a phone support tech named Adam and some people in Facebook. Not sure why nobody from BM monitors these forums?)
What happened was that because I had an old version on my PC, when I plugged in the switcher it automatically DOWNGRADED my firmware to an old version without my realizing it. I had seen this happen a while back with a Constellation switcher and saw it kill a show, but I had forgotten about it. Firmware versions are very finicky with Black Magic. They only upgrade to the latest in the series, not the very latest.
