Got myself a DJI SDR vide TX and RX units.
I can't seem to get a video signal to my TX unit when using the HDMI out of my BM VA's.
I've tried both 5inch and 7 inch (and Portkeys) video assists and the same problem. There is an output but the TX unit doesn't see it. Each camera output goes to HDMI input on the monitor. HDMI output to the input on the TX unit. Im assuming it's some sort or resolution clash but I can't understand what it's trying to pass through to the HDMI out.
Removing the loop (camera out to TX input) and works great. Why isn't the TX unit seeing the HDMI out from my monitors? I can't set the output on my screens but it's clearlyy working without the loop through from the screen.
I was thinking of using this as as test (but need to buy some SDI cables) - Would it work..>

Would the Assist's cross convert the HDMI to SDI on the fly?
on the RX I could then use SDI from the RX back into the Video Assist.
I guess I could use a splitter on the HDMI in but that's adding more stuff.
