Hello,
I am wondering if any users out there have had success connecting their Hyperdecks to a local NTP.
With the new update (8.4) all of our Hyperdecks (Studio Pro 4K, Extreme 4K, Extreme 8K) have no issue connecting to and updating from a web NTP (e.g. URL: time.cloudflare.com, time.google.com) but I am not having any luck connecting to local GPS-based NPT servers (e.g. Masterclock GMR, Cuckoo).
I am using unicast and placing the IP address of the NPT server is the NTP field of the Hyperdeck (e.g. 192.168.2.100). All device IPs are static. Other devices on the network have no issue updating from these local servers.
The NTP field on the Hyperdeck simply give a red "!" with the NTP server IP address. Interesting enough, I can see that the "Devices serviced" count increases on my NTP servers when I press "Set" on the Hyperdecks, but the Hyperdeck time does not update.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
