Hi - I've just acquired a second hand ATEM Mini, and I can't make it work. Before I take it back, I'd just like to check that I'm not doing anything stupid.
I have an HDMI feed from a DVD player, plug into a TV, works fine. I plug it into my ATEM Mini (tried all the ports), HDMI out to the TV. Lights on the Mini are on as expected, so I choose the input, which goes red. The TV is receiving a signal (goes a different shade of black, one TV says it's a 1080p 60 fps signal) but no picture. Tried swapping the cables out, no change.
I connected the USB output to my computer, but it does not recognise the input as a video feed or camera.
Eventually thought to upgrade the software, so I downloaded ATEM software 9.7 and connected the Mini with an ethernet cable to my network. The software does see the Mini on the network, but pressing Connect gives a message No Switcher Connected. So I look to try using the manual IP address, but my router says that nothing is connected to the port I have plugged it into.
Is this just a failed unit, or is there something I can do? Thanks for any help!
