Hello!
I am facing an issue with my Blackmagic UltraStudio HD Mini device. During a driver update on my MacBook (macOS 15.1), the device was accidentally disconnected from the Thunderbolt during the update process. After that:
The device powers on, but the fan runs at high speed.
The device is shown in the macOS System Report, but it is not recognized by Blackmagic Desktop Video Setup.
Attempts to force a firmware update via BlackmagicFirmwareUpdater did not work (the command is not found in the terminal).
Connecting to Windows also did not help: the device appears in Device Manager, but the BlackmagicFirmwareUpdater.exe utility is missing in the latest driver version.
I tried rolling back to older driver versions (e.g., 12.2.2), but that did not solve the problem.
The forced reset using DIP switches did not help either.
It seems the device is stuck in a recovery mode, or its firmware is corrupted. Is there any way to forcibly reset it to factory settings? Perhaps you have a utility for firmware recovery?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
