Apple TV Audio

PostSun Mar 30, 2025 1:55 am

We have a couple Apple TVs connected to our DeckLink cards and the audio sounds high-pitched/distorted.
The issue did not happen until recently, so I think it's due to a software update.
I have tested all the audio settings in the Apple TV but nothing fixes the issue.
Non-Apple TV devices work fine and we have the same problem on both DeckLink cards.

Sounds like the problem I posted earlier about. For now I still use a Decimator MD-HX to fix the issue.

The apple tvs are connected with an hdmi to sdi micro converter.
So you think the problem is related to sdi converter?

Yes, possible the MD-LX of Decimator also works fine but I don't know as I don't own these.
