I’m using a Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Full Frame L-Mount, not the Pocket version), and I’d like to integrate it with our ATEM Extreme SDI ISO switcher. However, this specific model doesn’t appear in the list of supported cameras for the switcher.
I’ve connected the camera using a Blackmagic Design Bi-Directional Micro Converter (HDMI to SDI), with the SDI In/Out connected to the switcher and HDMI running from the converter to the camera. While I do receive a video feed, none of the ATEM control functions—such as tally, autofocus, gain, or tint—are working.
Unlike our two Studio 4K cameras (assigned ATEM Camera IDs 2 and 3), the Cinema Camera 6K doesn’t appear to have any option to set an ATEM camera ID. I’ve assigned Camera ID 1 to the Micro Converter, but that hasn't enabled camera control either.
Is there a way to enable full integration with this setup?
Also, is there any plan to add support for the Cinema Camera 6K in a future ATEM update?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
