Intercom Constellation 4ME 4K to Atem Talkback converter

PostFri May 09, 2025 6:40 pm

I have some cameras connected to my Constellation 4/ME 4K directly and some connected via Atem Talkback Converter 4k. My intercom works with the cameras connected to the constellation, but it doesn't continue on to my converter. I have a program output going into the converter, but still nothing. Is it possible to pass intercom from the constellation to the Atem talkback?

I think, talkback converter remove talkback channel from Atem amd replace it with own talkback channel .. Why u not put all cameras into talkback converter? Thats the idea , how it works ..

I probably should clarify. I use studio technologies intercom and I was trying to integrate dante with the blackmagic. I was able to connect the dante to the constellation via rj45 to xlr adapter but it only worked when the cameras were connected directly to the constellation. When I added the talkback into the mix, I could only get talkback from the cameras but no communication from the director.

Just to clear things up a bit. Like Roman says, the Constellation Talkback and the Talkback Converters are not compatible. Either use one or the other but not both for Talkback. I hope this helps.
