ATEM Mini Extreme ISO firmware updates

I purchased an ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and before putting into production, I wanted to update the firmware as it showed v9.5.1.

1. I downloaded the current ATEM Switches v9.7 update and installed it on the PC.
2. Connected the ATEM switcher to the PC via the USB-C "B" port.
3. Held down the top left button on the ATEM switcher and powered it on when the button flashed.
4. Started the ATEM Setup up and it responded saying that a new firmware was available and whether I wanted to update... I proceeded through the wizard and let the process finish.
5. After it restarted, connected back to the ATEM via the USB-C "A" port.

However the firmware on the ATEM Switcher still shows v9.5.1 even thought I went through the whole update process successfully. Is this a bug or is the latest firmware available for the ISO is v9.5.1 even though the ATEM Switches software it v9.7?

Is there are way to factor reset and then retry or force update the firmware to v9.7?

"Hold down the top left button" -> this is RECOVERY MODE - for downgrade.

If you want to UPGRADE -> you should open ATEM Connection aplication, and klick ATEM setup -> now you should see upgrade notification.

Always good to read the release notes before going through an update process. That way you can see if recent updates apply to your model of switcher. Updates post 9.5.1 relate only to other ATEM models, not yours. That is why you cannot update past 9.5.1.
