USB 4 is effectively a bunch of standards - not all of which are mandatory. I expect the USB 4 port will need to support the optional Thunderbolt element of the USB 4 standard to work? After doing a lot of research, I found that the USB4 on my mother is Thunderbolt compatible and should work. I will find out once I get the Atem Mini Extreme ISO G2, I do have a Macbook and an Intel based laptop with Thunderbolt just in case.
