Chroma Key is turned off when switching camera inputs

Hi,

Whenever we switch cameras on our ATEM Mini Pro, the Chroma Key gets turned off. We have to click the On Air button every time we switch camera inputs. That is very inconvenient.

I read here that can be fixed by running Setup again and selecting the Stay on with transition radio button for the Chroma Keyer setting. However, when I run Setup again, all those settings are greyed out and I can't changed them. I even uninstalled the ATEM Control Panel and re-installed it, but those settings are still greyed out. What am I missing here?

Whats your setting of NEXT TRANSITON in KEYS .. U need selected BKGD and NO KEY !

If settings are grayed out in the Setup Utility you need to connect via USB and make the changes. You will have the option to make changes via Ethernet and USB if you like. Once the make the setting in the Setup Utility the Chroma Key will remain on of you like. I hope this helps.

Our ATEM screen looks like attachment. Are you saying we should also turn on the ON AIR button under DSK 1 / Rate?

Thanks for the reply. Do I uninstall the ATEM software again, connect the computer to the ATEM using a USB cable and run the setup utility again?

There is no need to uninstall ATEM software. The ATEM Setup Utility has several configuration items for different use cases like yours. Just run the Setup Utility but you will need to connect via USB if these parameters are grayed out. The requirement to setup via USB is a user defined function in the setup utility.

NO .. If U do not need DSK ..
Photo of your Settings looks OK .. It cannot put down key, when U performinf CUT or AUTO TRANSIOTION ..
