Hi all! How to use this audio mapping on the Constellation HD? I have installed latest software 9.6.2 but I don't see the audio tab in the menu? I have a constellation m/e2 HD.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you upgraded firmware in atem? Run ATEM SETUP and do FW upgrade ..

Yeah it worked! Awesome thanks :)
Would be great if they put this in the manual. Couldn't find anything about firmware upgrades in it...

is it also possible to get a mix audio on an sdi output? And then a mix on channels 1/2?

So what I would like to have :

Output 5 is two TV's in the studio.
Input 1 (Hyperdeck) and input 10 (PC) audio ---> Output 5 channels 1 and 2.

I see in the XML and also in the audioatem tool that you can only have for example input 1 to output 5 channel 1.2,
And then input 10 to output 5 3/4.
But my tv's don't have channel 3/4 or any other normal equipment.

Hope to hear if this is possible in another way?

No this is not possible inside the ATEM.

The only way to do this is with an external audio mixer. E.g. when you have an audio mixer with MADI in/outputs you can receive the audio from video inputs directly into your audio mixer. On the audio mixer you can create a sub-mix on a bus and then output this bus on two channels of the the MADI output. These MADI channels can then be sent as audio channels 1/2 on the AUX output for your TV.

It can also be done with embedding and de-embedding audio on SDI to make the connection to your mixer but that's a more complicated setup. I use this solution but just for stereo left and right to/from the ATEM video switcher to/from my audio mixer.

I would be interested to hear from someone who has tried the MADI solution and what the audio delay is when using that solutions. My guess is that it is so little that it will not be noticeable.

Did the MADI out/in with a Constellation 8k and a x32 for a small educational studio. Works great. Haven't noticed any issues.

Great tool thank's a lot.
Now the next thing will be to do it on the fly during the work.
I guess loading the xml file during work will do a drop on all outputs, does anyone has an idea how to dynamicly switch the audio outputs? I thought using companion for it.
What do you think?

Hi,

Thanks for this Roman! This is an awesome feature to have.

I’m using the TVS HD8 and was wondering—how can I remove the talkback from the Studio Out or Control Room Out? I’d like to use these outputs for a loudspeaker connection, but I haven’t found a clear way to separate the talkback from the main audio.

Would appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance.

Hi Roman
yes, it works, with the TVS HD8, but the issue im having is that I can’t find a way to select which audio is output through the TRS audio outputs—one labeled Control and the other Studio—but both always include the intercom channels.
I would like to disable this so that they output only the Program audio

SHAI : yes as GARRY said , analog audio have included intercomm channels allways .. We are allways using audio console to making sound .. And im allways getting audio from atem via deembeders (or MADI to DANTE converter now) .. And Im do not using ATEM intercom (we using Riedel) ..

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping this is the solution for what I'm needing to do. I run a lecture theatre and previously had a ATEM Television Studio Pro for our livestreams, with 4 cameras, a feed from the HDMI matrix (What's on the projector), and an audio feed from the Allen & Heath SQ-6.

I've moved to the Constellation 4K 2 M/E to use the second mix effect for the projector, have more direct sources from PC / Mac / Hyperdeck and this all fits the bill.

However I wanted to route the studio for those sources through the Constellation which is fine for the livestream still, but currently the mics go to ceiling speakers and sound from computers / laptops goto the surround processor via the HDMI matrix.

Ideally the surround processor would be fed from the ATEM - the projector has a Terenex SDI to HDMI 4K which has background audio out which I could utilise. However, I don't want to send the TRS input (microphone mix) to the surround processor so would this work?

I was sold the unit on the fact it would work like a SDI matrix with the assignable AUX, but I miss being able to easily switch different audio.

U can send any combination of 16 audio channels individually to each aux output ..

So I could send the stereo outputs from my media sources such as the presentation PC to 1/2, video playback Mac to 3/4, overlay PC to 5/6 etc, but I'm looking for stereo mix out a bit like the PGM out.

Ideally I'd want M/E 1 PGM to be all channels audio to a stereo mix (as it currently is), and M/E2 PGM to be the same BUT without the TRS channel.

I could maybe do it the other way round, and not have the microphone mix from the SQ-6, and then have an input from ATEM for the media sources. This would work for in-room audio, but I'd have to then send this back to the Hyperdeck and Web Presenter 4K which might be complicated.
