Following up on this, as I turned this with Blackmagic Support.
You can set the recording to "Extended Video" in the Micro Studio 4k G2. That results in the same outcome for SDI as enabling the LUT in HDMI, so is usable for the live environment.
Because the footage has been recorded in BRAW, you can then revert the footage back to the flat "Film" profile in Davinci Resolve in post.
Select the clip, go to "Color", click on the camera icon to get to the Camera RAW tab,
- "Decode Quality" -> "Use project setting"
- "Decode using" -> "Clip"
- "Color Science" -> "Gen 5"
- "White balance" -> "As shot"
- "Color Space" -> "Blackmagic Design"
- "Gamma" -> "Blackmagic Design Film"
And voila, you're back at the flat color profile, from which you can grade to your liking.
Obviously, none of the uploaded or LUTs, that are available on the HDMI output can be applied to the SDI output. Only the BMD native color spaces.
