UpDownCross converter and 50 to 59.9 conversion

Could you please confirm, what kind of format conversion can provide OpenGear UpDownCross converter?
So far it seems to me, that it can only UpScale or DownScale SDI while keeping frame rate, or it can convert anything to SD PAL or SD NTSC. Conversion between different frame rates within HD (720 or 1080) seems not to be possible. Is this correct?
Can Teranex 2D convert in HD (720 or 1080) between 25,29,30 or 50,59,60Hz formats?

The terranex 2 D and 3d can so what you are wanting.

Just a note... discovered the hard way that the UpDownCross converter card does NOT pass embedded audio. This kind of surprised me.
