Web Presenter HD question

I'm probably answering my own question but....... My Web Presenter HD arrives tomorrow and looking at it i naturally presumed that the Web cam emulation was via the USB socket, reading the manual it says the USB is just for driver updates so i'm guessing its via the Lan in that case.

USB-C on the front and rear provide the webcam feeds (tested and working).

I don't think you can send a webcam over IP, not without a load of software sitting in the middle taking the video stream and pretending to be a webcam anyway.

Thanks for that James, that's what i thought but the manual is kind of vague about it. Is it USB 3 only or backwards compatible to USB2 (at the computer end i mean)

I've just tested it with both and got a feed at 1080p25.

I am facing currently the same issue. Did you find any solution for audio sync related to the new Web Presenter HD. Any help will be precious.
